I humbly respect your thoughts...but we should be enraged by the performance of this stock, not appreciative.  The decision of the Board to expand production in the face of declining prices and increasing supply is a complete disaster.   You do realize that CNC is but an empty field of dreams and yet the stock price is more than double than that of the dog Sherritt International ...more

Let me throw in my 2 cents my dear freind....and to anyone else who wants to be bored to death with my rambling on. I started investing in the 80s when there was no internet, you had to set up an account with a broker, you had to make an appointment with them to sign papers, you could only buy board lots...100 share multiples, the commission was huge so you had to wait till the stock went up ...more

Where did you come up with a $10B value for the refinery?  The asset ...more

Thanks for your comments FCPlady.  It wasn't me that said the Fort mill was worth $10 billion.  It was, if I remember correctly, none other than Mr. VerificateASAP, I believe.   Not sure if you are new to the show here but take a look back at previous posts especially from VerificateASAP to see his narrative and where we are today. Anyone who's been active on this ...more

FCPlady - Oh and BTW your comment: "S started its expansion project when the outlook for ni and co was much more favourable, and prices were rising.   Co was about $25/lb and climbing.  Ni was north of $10/lb."  When Sherritt made their investment at the Ambatovy operation in Madagascar it was also because Ni prices were higher.  It's all perspective.  ...more
