RE:RE:What happened on Friday?
I'm not sure how much to trust these volume numbers but it looks to me like around 250k shares traded on us and Canada listings today. Around 60k on us index in the last 15 minutes, indicated as buys and 40k on Canada index, indicated as buys. Not huge volume, but that it happened almost simultaneously on both exchanges suggests to me that it is not just a fat finger buy (ie someone who accidentally put in a buy at market order rather than using a limit order). As well, gold was flat today pretty much. So this suggests a leak to me and good news next week. I agree with GoldNHill's possibilities.
