Where's the $Money$?

Where's the $Money$?I recently sat down with a BMO Wealth Manager to discuss Signal's Goldboro project.  I made it clear that all of the recent metrics for this proposed mining development are based on a ridiculously low gold price of $1600.00/oz./USD.  Now with gold having already hit a recent new all-time record high price of $2203.00/oz./USD, it now appears that there is no way that Signal could not make a huge profit producing gold from either the 2 proposed pits and/or a third near Dolliver Mtn., especially when you factor-in the very low Canadian Dollar and the approximate exchange rate of over $1.35/oz.  Signal should be profitable almost immediately and likely will have repaid its lender(s) etc., in much less than 3 years.  This project is a win-win-win!

The question posed to me by this individual was one that I have asked myself dozens of times, namely:  "why aren't potential lenders throwing tons of money at Signal even though the stock price is (naturally) depressed (and as we agreed was irrelevant given the above metrics)?"  The billionnaire Canadian mining guru, founder of Goldcorp (where he made a fortune and is now the principal of a new mining development in South America), Mr. Rob McEwan (McEwan Mining), says that there has not been a better time for small-cap mining companies, in the last 50 years, than today.  He emphasizes that such companies have absolutely nowhere to go but UP!...and recommends long-term investment in a basket of these stocks.  I fully agree with him.  Does anyone here have any interesting ideas as to why Signal is having difficulty finding a lender(s)?  This Manager was very impressed with the fact that Signal has essentially received all approvals and/or permits and is geographically very well-positioned and has insulated and protected itself very smartly by acquiring the land positions all-around the principal Goldboro gold deposit.  He likes Signal's chances for success.  So do I!
