New Mine
Any idea how much it would cost to move the existing mine from Newfoundland to Goldboro?

The existing mill has less than 2000 tonne/day capacity. Too small...we need 4000 t/d.

You are right GoldNHill, it's a 1300 tonne/day to be more precise or 100 t/d if you ask to Shiftyone !! ;-0

But better 2000 t/d in 2024 then 4000 t/d in 2025. Start with 2000 t/d and then improve in the future with a second mill...? Call me silly but these are just my thoughts.

Remember as Kevin said in webinar, Construction will begin in february 2024 and you can add 16 mouth for that operation so production in 2025 !!! If we have a financial deal before...Rob work on it...PDAC 2013 until wednesday and no news...

Moving the PR plant to Goldboro at this point does not worth it IMO: the feasibility study is for a 4000 tpd plant. Also, it will take time and money to dismantle the plant and reconstructing it. Plus you will make Point Rousse much less attractive for an eventual buyer.

I guess what I am saying is has anyone actually crunched the numbers relating to moving the mill? There appears to be no obvious buyer for Pointe Rousse. and the sale price will not cover anywhere near the new mill construction.
