Price Level Squeeze

The longer the price level stays down here the better it is for a takeover. Squeeze the price down a little more before it pops and hand it over for another to control. Question is who will take it out.

Solid financial backing? They have big debt and the only thing backstopping them is  gov money that will have to be paid back. Yes I sold at the bottom but it wasn't a large position. That being said I kick myself for not bailing when the smart management headed for the exits. That should have told me everything I needed to know but I guess I didn't heed the warning.  Sticking ...more

It was small as I like to keep ny investments spread out. It helps to protect the investor in cases much like this one. I have kept and added to my oily holdings CNQ, WCP, TOG and TVE but SGY was the one where the looming debt cast too large of a shadow to double down on. I believe we will see a recovery but it will be the best the breed that leads the way. On the gassy side TOU and ARX continue ...more
