Welcome on board. Did yu ever consider checking the company presentation before buying? https://www.canacolenergy.com/i/pdf/nr/2020-08-13-NR-CNE.pdf Yes, Eric Sprott is a shareholder (see p.7)  although he admits (and laments) he was late to the party The PEA was based on 88 million oz AG Eq (p.10) but this doesn't reflect the recent drilling or rise in prices.  Note that because ...more

Only 88MM ounces AG for a market cap of 1.6 billion CAD. So eypensive and still far from production (end of 2021) 88MM ounces AG is not that much compare to DSV who have 500MM oucnces AG with a market cap of 300MM CAD and will enter on production in 2022. Why is SILV so expensive ? How many million ounces AG potential they have on their property ?

I am not an expert on DSV but on first glance I think you are comparing a Lamborghini to a Yugo. DSV cutoff grade is 15g/ton for 407 million oz Ag and 50g /ton for 128 mill oz.  Eric Fier would even piss on that ground which will be donkey pasture if silver prices don't do what we all hope for. Their AgEq oz include a lot of Zn and Pb too, while SIL is about 50% -%05 Au-Ag with very ...more

Pop, I am not an expert or a prophet so I can't tell you how mamy oz we have in Las Chispas.  But I can tell you two things with certainty: 1. Not all oz are created equal.  High Grade oz near surface are worth a heck of a lot more than low grade oz deeper under ground.  Investors get paid in dollars not oz and the capital cost of developing the resource (Capex /oz) as well as ...more

ok so around 400MM AG ounces potential for the entire property. The PEA give NPV (5%) of $505MM for the 88MM AG ounces at gold 1400$ and silver 19$. So for Gold 2000$ and silver 28$ it sould be around $800MM NPV But our market cap is $1.2 billion now ............ this stock is quite expensive. In the best case scenario we found 400MM unce AG on the entire prperty so we have 800MM$ *4 = 3200MM ...more

You may be right that the upside from here is only a 2 or 3 bagger but in investing one also has to consider the downside and everything in between. Many stocks  that have a very small chance of becoming a 10 or 20 bagger also have a high probability of  losing money or going to zero.  SIL will make money and have a positive return in almost any scenario you can think of.  ...more
