RE:my takeThis deal is great for both companies.

Crescent Point has been trying sell that property for awhile because it's not core to them and it's not a resource play like Viewfield. They have neglected it for years and any wells that went down for maintenance they never brought back on. They haven't had a team in the office looking after that area for awhile.

Now Saturn comes in and puts some TLC into it and I'm guessing it will flourish. This will be the heart of their company (exact opposite of CPG), so nothing is going to be overlooked or forgotten anymore. I've talked to friends who work in that field and they're excited because now the field will get some attention and capital it deserves. Apparently there is a lot of upside and missed opportunities from CPG, that I'm sure Saturn will capitalize on...Time will tell though!!!
