China continues to buy up the world

China pretty much bought up Africa over the past 20 years effectively tying up a big chunk of the world's supply of the raw materials needed to build the batteries needed by the evolution of EV's

More recently, China has done deals with Russia to provide for China's requirements for oil and gas going forwad which will help Russia build its own middle class if Putin and his buddies don't take it all.  China has also made important inroads into India and the Middle East by building ports and providing the funding for infrastructure.

Now we have CELAC (a Community of 33 Latin American and Caribbean states including Mexico) signing on to have China will provide infrastructure focued on transportation.

What is America doing?  Bickering as its power grid is on its way to the intensive care unit.

What is Europe doing?  Bickering and shivering as its power grid is on life support

China continues to play the long game while the west circles the drain.  How convenient for China that it doesn't have to employ the "divide and conquer" strategy as the west is doing that on its own.

Putin wil likely provide us with a birds eye vies of just how impotent Europe and America are in the next week of two.

How much longer will it be before China absorbs Taiwan and thereby control the South China Sea?

Many years ago, a close friend of mine was doing business with the Japanese around the time that they were still an economic force to be dealt with.  He and his team travelled to Japan for negotiations on a business deal.  They were met at the airport by some Japanese men who said that they were pleased that they had come so far and they wanted to express their appreciation before the ...more

What you wrote seems bang on....Im afraid; When the Roman empire fell the world went into a period that lasted for centuries called "The Dark Ages" I suspect with China at the helm, there will be a different name for it.

i have a different view Remember the paper nippon? (the boom and bust of japan) Remember the paper asian tiger? ( the boom and bust of SE Asian countries) Soon the paper dragon will reveal itself. Maybe why china want to spread its weings into africa and south america, so the downfall wouldn't as severe.  China risen because the west let them.

Japan is a rock with little resources, that's why it tried to take over the world.   When USA Bombed it, it made deal with the world to divide it's bounty (slicing up China pie) and Japan all of a sudden became the worlds economic friend. Since then, the USA/NATO has continued on their war path, setting up shame organizations, WHO, UN, International This and That.... all used to ...more

How do you China isn't being lulled or set up into a short boom (by "short" I mean years) followed by a sudden fall as happened to japan?
