The Great Debate

Well the Trump Biden Debate is now history.  Unlike most debates there was actually a clear winner.  Even though Trump spent most of his time talking in Grade 3 superlatives and false exagerations, most people were really watching to see if Biden could be coherent for even 90 minutes and prove that he can do the job of President.  He failed miserable and it was game over.

Sooooo.....right now it looks like Trump will win in November unless the Dems pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat.  This is possible but it really can't happen until the Dem Convention where Biden steps down and the backroom crowd crown someone else (Gavin Newsom?) and that is pretty late in the political cycle.

The key question for investors is "What does a Trump Presidency imply?"

If you haven't done so yet, the time now is to start to look at what Trump says he will do and figure out what that means for your investments and make the required changes to your portfolio allocation and investment choices (ie get ahead of the curve).  The other thing to do is to now wtach closely the coverage in downballot races (ie The House and Senate).  How much Trump will be able to do will depend on whether the Republicans have control of the The Senate and The House.  Last time around he at least tried to dom pretty much everything he said he would do but was stymied by Nancy Pelosi.

I think it's elderly abuse .... Biden should be in a old age home with care , it's clear the man is done like in a boxing match but his coach won't through the towel and let him get beat up ... it's sad to see , when you go hunting and you shoot a deer and hurt him , you need to find him and finish him .

Marty...agree 100% The sad thing is that in this case is that the people in the US will suffer as well (and perhaps the rest of the world).  Hard to imagine that with 300 plus million people the best they can field for President are Trump and Biden. Frankly, I don't know what was going through the minds of the upper echelons of the Dem Party.  Anyone with half a brain knows that no ...more

Marty...the only way he will be replaced at this point in time is if they have an open convention where Biden says he will step down and the backroom "boys" have picked someone to be nominated at the convention.  For this to happen, Biden himself has to decide to step down.  From discussions I have had with my American friends who are politically connected, it seems like it is ...more

i'm not concern about biden, he's just 1 brain dead walking. I'm more concern about the 38-39% braindead americans that still backing biden. when the most powerful country in the world has ~40% population following a brain dead, future doesn't look good
