RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:EIA: Us Proven oil reserves down by 19%, from 2019 to 2020 i think ukraine quagmire is playing into china's hand. The more US get entangled with russia over ukraine, the more doubt the US allies (Japan, Taiwan, south korea) have on the US ability to defend them from china, and open up window of opportunity for china to take taiwan and rises up as new hegemon of asia.

In 4 years, Trump has done more than any other president to destroy what little trust and reputation the US had remaining globally, and withdrew support leaving countries that relied on them hanging out to dry, and the Chinese gladly moved in to take their place. Allies were thrown under the bus, and trade tariff walls came up as it was 'America first, and damn the rest'.
I wonder how Taiwan feels now that the west showed just how deep their committment is to oppose an invasion of a foreign country, by balking on the main deterrent to a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
And how does the world feel about all this?
Futures are down, and oil marches higher...
