RE:Debt ceiling talksInteresting (sad) thing about all this is that right wing of the Republican party won't agree to higher spending and the left wing of the Democratic party doesn't want to cut any of their green initiatives. The end result is that both extremes will vote against any Agreement for totally different/oppose reasons and there is enough of them (both sides counted together) to block just about anything from getting approved by Congress.
Both sides consider a "matter of principle" and won't compromise.
When you factor in what my General friend told me about Biden's team considering a default as a political win to help Biden get re-elected in 2024, you get the mess we are in now.
When both sides go through the Town Gate in Washington, they have to empty their pockets of morals and common sense they have and put them in the lockers and in return get a hypocrite stamp on their foreheads to get their morals back when they leave Washington....
