Debt ceiling talks

The Republicans just walked out of the talks with the Democrats.  They accused
the Dem of being intractable with their demands but in reality they are just the
same.  C'mon boys,  get over it and drop the ego bs and power games and do the
right thing.   Surely you're not going to let this go over the cliff out of petty stubborness.
Is this the example you want to show to your kids and the rest of the world in how to
behave?    Have politicians not progressed beyond cave man society where who
has the biggest club gets the woman.   Nope,  nothing changed in a million years.

Great visual!!!  Great find!!! Really scary when you see it like that.... When I see things like that or think about the debt Governments are accumulating, I think of the movie "Paying It Forward".  What we are doing is the opposite - Paying it Backwards.  We are taking away our Grandchidren's standard of living so that we can live "High on the Hog" today!!

Interesting (sad) thing about all this is that right wing of the Republican party won't agree to higher spending and the left wing of the Democratic party doesn't want to cut any of their green initiatives.  The end result is that both extremes will vote against any Agreement for totally different/oppose reasons and there is enough of them (both sides counted together) to block just
