RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Well in other news, Suncor valuation

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Well in other news, Suncor valuation Today, the cost to replace a Tesla battery ranges from $3,000 to $7,000 depending upon the size of the battery. The cost of the battery is expected to drop another 40% by the end of 2025 which is only two years out.

Can you get that cost of replacement in writing, considering you said cost is coming down too, dealers should have no problem underwriting that cost estimate.  So far, you have not provided any tangible case or proof where tesla battery cost between $3000-$7000, only talking points

I don't know about the warranty for other EV's, but Tesla offers an 8 year warranty on the battery based on 20,000km per year.  Apparently battery fails for Tesla's are very rare but when they do happen, it is almost always in the first year.  The average battery life for a Tesla ranges from 22 to 27 years.

The cost of the battery for Tesla has dropped off a cliff to the tune of about 85% in the last ten years. Today, the cost to replace a Tesla battery ranges from $3,000 to $7,000 depending upon the size of the battery. The cost of the battery is expected to drop another 40% by the end of 2025 which is only two years out.

To put the above in perspective, a replacement engine for a Ford costs about $7,000 to $9,000.

I hope the above info helps.
