RE:RE:RE:Zero Emission Cars - CanadaI classify EV in the disposable electronics catergory.
In 8-10 years owners need to replace EV battery.
During that time, new battery formulation can takeover, more complex design, new formulation make recycling very costly. (IE recycling cost > end product value).  More tax subsidy needed to fund the recyclers.  A well maintained ICE car can last much longer than 8-10 years.
