Why do I mention this?


Not to brag.

But for those much younger than me... a thought/advice

Enjoy life as you go along.  My Dad and Mom had great plans for retirement but my Dad died at 45 and so their plans never happened.  But at the same time, you need to keep one eye on the future and plan accordingly so when your kids are grown up you have the means to enjoy life to enjoy life and see the world while you still can.

I agree. I'm have breakfast with my lovely wife in Spanish Wells Bahamas.   About to head out on the rental boat to fish/snorkel and island hop.  Couple of Queen snapper fillets are chilling in the fridge

I couldn't agree more. Being in my mid 30s I'm contemplating "retirement" at the moment. It's surprising how hard it is to take that leap when you've got a decent long term career...
