Bioteck Viacyte resultsI am surprised you are not chirping about Viacyctes results from their trial. Mixed results, no endpoint data.... c petitide, how much where ? Insulin production? Sugar reduction? Where was c peptide?? Inside the device?
Viacycte has tow variables - their device and their stem cells? Which one works? Dont know... again they use immunosuoreesion too.
At least with Sernova, we have exact endpoint measurements of c peptide. With Medtronics glucose monitoring we have accuarcay of data that is unparallel. Also with Sernova, we know the pouch works, introducing stem cell line (that has also proven to work) you eliminate unceratin variables. Viacyte on the other hand, wont know what or how to modify to improve their results. Viacycte release the data.....
Hopefully Sernova releases updates on results on existing patient and enrolled patients. I doubt the big pharma collaboartion will be made public because pharma does not want competitors to know anything. But it will eventually be made public at some point with a buyout or licensing deal if results look favorable.... just my opinion only.
