Outlook: Neutral

Sierra Mojada has many things going in its favor – and many challenges.

It hosts substantial high-grade silver and zinc mineralization and has the backing of South32, which holds an option on the project.

Silver prices have risen sharply over the past six months.

But zinc prices have slipped below US$1/lb levels and the blockade and lawsuit are significant obstacles to development.
