Next steps
The company needs to come out and disclose what was proposed by GC, why they disagree with it, and whether it will in fact go to a vote at the AGM (and be included in the info circular). I am not sure

As of today the company is buying back shares , it's paying a dividend , and now two potential buyers are 10% + shareholders , you're right it is good news , stay tuned for more .

I see that SXP is buying back stock today now that the price is below $3. I think they probably set $3 as the maximum price they will pay

The dividend from 2 years ago had been out of sync with reality for a long time. Going straight back to that would have been crazy. While my first choice would have been continuing with the buybacks
