RE:Alternative Trading System (ATS) I think it's worth clarifying that the trade volume as shown on StockWatch.com today does NOT indicate that ATS trade volume has exceeded TSX trade volume.
As of the moment I am writing this, the total volume is shown as
2,319,000 shares, which includes
1,692,800 shares traded on the TSX (real time) plus
626,200 shares traded on ATS (delayed). In other words,
the total volume traded is NOT the sum of the two larger figures.
At least that's how I understand it. GLTA
