shareholders is that petrotal has lost any say in how the funds are deployed though this Acta ro whatever it's called. That would leave Perez and the crook govenor of loreta to fill their pockets, and it would appease Perez and serve it's purpose of putting an end to conflict. As long as the status quo going forward is Petrotal management being shut out and thus Manolo is unhappy, but Perez is happy, it's a win win for shareholders. Is that your reading on it?

Yes that is how I see this alliance agreement.  With Petrotal out what happens to deployment of the funds will be solely on the committee.  They will only have themselves to account for.
