Very difficult to be constructive

Small cap, biotech, illiquid, no good news, frustration, no analyst or institutional support. That's the Thera failure legacy. Yep that's it.. next level 3$ or 2usd... Can't wait for this to be over among other things of course.. You guys should sell and go away, me I'm stuck in this sh.t, head deep in this sh.t of company.

Going to be interesting to see how voting goes this time for board members at the upcoming AGM

They have a window to deliver between now and then it will come down on them with a vengence otherwise. They lost the luxury of time with most of the shareholders. At this point most prefer an exit strategy if nothing happens short term. I know that's the way I feel and the way I will vote. No more restructuring, rebuilding, retrying whatever did'nt work in the past, present or future. If ...more

Try to visualize yourself as Warren Buffett and ask yourself is this the strategy he would employ?  If cancer works, the chance that you will be adding a "0" behind your $3 target is high. Don't be foolish. Even if your are tired, which we would all certainly understand, you still need to let logic guide your decisions and settling for $3 has a really good shot at being one of ...more

I am long the company, but disappointed in the company's blind spot or indifference toward enhancing shareholder value. The lab work and product development are critical; however communicating with your shareholders, potential institutional investors, and stock analysts are a core function of the C suite. We now approach another annual meeting. Last year there was good coordinated effort and ...more

I would like to. The only people that have been a priority are themselves. Most that didnt vote against the board last time said give it one more year. We have its time to make some changes....

Wino, SPCEO, others, what are your assessments? Do we have like minds to craft a simple and measurable agenda? How do we use the meeting and board elections to advance a stockholder value agenda?

As if a different management could create shareholder value out of thin air. Shareholder value will increase if the company can create value with successful results, clinical results and partnerships results. But a partnerships in oncology will only come with good clinical results. As for NASH, the question is more complicated. It's a tricky program, and the price for betting is high.

If you read through my thread you'll see that I acknowledge that our clinical work and project development is critical. But I think it's Also an important responsibility of management to engage shareholders, engage potential institutional investors, engage analysts, and advance a public information campaign plan all with an eye towards shareholder value. I'm not talking about creating ...more

Engage them with what???? Buy our stock, but all we have to sell for now is hope that it will work some day? Time for hope is well passed for Thera. They need strong results to be able to convince new investors and they cannot disclose important material infos to selected investors. That being said, they can do it under confidentiality agreements with potential partners. But if what they see now ...more

Given they expanded the board way more than they needed but did not pull anyone off, I would guess the long-timers that are nearing the end of their terms will likely not seek to be appointed again. The votes were noticeably light last year for a few of them, so that's a pretty strong indication there. If not, I and many others will probably vote the same way again. But we are a diluted group ...more

I am personally not ready to move in that direction yet. But I am open to any ideas anyone might have. We probably have enough shareholders to cause a fuss if we wanted to but I am not sure we have enough to vote anyone off the board. Even had I voted my shares against board members last year, they would not have lost their seats. There is at least one other key shareholder who would need to join ...more

What results are you expecting from the the phase 1a?  The only results they will announce will be the dose they are using in the phase 1b trial.  They've already said that will be 300mg barring any major change in findings.
Comment by jfm1330 on Mar 02, 2022 3:16pm
They said that they tested many patients with multiple doses at 420 mg/m2 and these patients were likely treated at 300 mg/m2 before that. I understand phase Ia is not designed to show efficacy in the best possible way, that being said, given they know which cancer are very likely to overexpress sortilin, it is hard to believe that out of all that not a single patient will show some tumor ...more

If we do not hear a lot more than that, it would be pretty disappointing. Obviously, they will have quite a bit of data onthe way the drug worked and clearly, we want to hear about any indication that the drug made it into the cancer cells, avoided the efflux pump and did its work on killing those cells. If we get that proof of concept, then the door is wide open to so many possibilities it will ...more

There's a lot more information we would all like to know. That doesn't mean we are going to see any of it. Based on how this company operates it's safe to say we will get less information than anyone expects.  I think you're setting yourself up for major disappointment if you think you're getting much more than just the MTD
Comment by Bucknelly21 on Mar 02, 2022 7:25pm
If only they would just be open to new ideas I think the bottom line is that they're just very stubborn they think they know better than everyone else which is funny because I have went nowhere in the last 25 years

I understand your frustration and was hoping for better results sooner also.  However, I am looking forward to some cheap shares.  I am happy to play the long game, I am currently losing money, but I think that there is value for the potential.  Only worry I have now is another share offering with bad terms.
