I got another one of these notifications in my investment account this morning:

"SHAREHOLDER ALERT: Pomerantz Law Firm Investigates Claims on Behalf of Investors of Theratechnologies Inc. - THTX"

Does anyone know what specific wrongdoing is alleged?  There is nothing in the notification other than the price dropped because of the Dec 1 news.

These law firms are fishing for information. Whenever they see a big stock pricec drop, the next thing you see is firms like this one trying to get aggrieved shareholders to contact the so they can start a suit against the company (assuming they can come up with a somewhat reasonable basis for such a suit. These law firms, however, seem to be in this business of chasing stock price ambulences

I don't know how this story will end up, but one thing is sure, small shareholders now clearly knows that this company does not care at all about them. The message sent is that there are two categories of investors, the big ones that have accesstomanagement toget a better sense of what is going on, and the small ones that are totally by themselves, left with the choice of taking huge losses

TH is likely trying hard to figure out the next move and are not yet ready to communicate since nothing is yet settled. The thing is that I think the SP would not have gone much lower if they would have come out and say that they were dropping TH1902.

That an not having an invertebrate management and board... I found the word to best describe them: INVERTABRATE... invertabrates lives under rocks, you don't see them.  I complain but I voted against all of them in may... everybody here his paying the price of having a weak management and a weak board atm.

What I mean is that the way they came out led the market to count TH1902 as dead, which I hope it is. The comment on the fact that efficacy seen is not good enough was percieved as no efficacy at all and more importantly, that the platform itself, based on TH19P01/sortilin is invalid. That there is no proof of concept in all their data collected on human.  For now, it killed the whole program

I'm speachless in light of what kind of disconnect they manage to acheive between a company's value and the market value.  Ok these markets are not totally rational for small illiquid biotech companies and the awfull  way it came out and the timing of the news and all... it's a Thera trademark now... believe me they've done this many times in the past... this company has

 Patients have to come to the clinic more than once a week currently.  Thera is making these really sick patients do a weekly blood test.  On top of that there is an eye test every 3 weeks and a CT scan every 6 weeks.  Treatment day is quite long as there is a pretreatment infusion and after treatment monitoring.

There you have it. I am repeating that docetaxel is not good enough as a cytotoxic agent, now this reference tells us that even second generation taxoid is not good enough. I will repeat myself, they need to drop TH1902 and hopefully come up with data backing a proof of concept of the carrier/ligand TH19P01 and sortilin. They need to show they can carry TH19P01 based PDCs inside sortilin
