Marsolais and LaFond not buyers

I think these are the only two senior managers that I would have expected to buy shares like other insiders that did not do so.

I wonder if special accomodations have been made for these two who were blocked out for a very long time from exercising their long held options at levels that would have been profitable for them and this is why they did not participate in the recent buying? Their options are no longer in the money and will likely expire worthless if they have not done so already.

If THTX has done something to make them somewhat whole or at least give them a chance to get whole sometime in the future, that would be nice as they were trapped for the better part of a year without being able to exercise those options. I only wish the same could be done for legacy shareholders too!

If they have done something for those two I would like to know about it as otherwise the lack of joining in the buying by Marsolais, in particular, makes one wonder why.

It would help a lot knowing that the CMO likes his company enought to buy some. By some I mean more than a few thousand shares.

My take is they are not privy to any data yet .Otherwise the CEO would not have bought based on undisclosed material info... So if the CEO does not know it goes without saying that Marsolais is also in the dark Lets say that Mardolais were to purchase a substantial number of shares .....say 50000 !!! This MB would go bananas infering that Marsolais knows that results will be poditive and the SP ...more

The last thing this board is capable of is creating a buying frenzy and driving the price up. N one believes in the company. It's a show me results company now.

Lets not forget this a day of doing sales pitchs to institutions at the Truist biotech thing from what we read on Linkedin but can't find a trace of on the website event sections.  Must be considered a non event.

Every other company is telling their shareholders that they have cash for the next 24/48 months and trying to reassure their shareholders.  What have they said following this givaway.  Have they lifted the ongoing concern thing that keeps freeking out everyone.  Have they explained a bit in more details that we wanted to raise the cash level a bit.  It does'nt seem ...more

There is no reasonable explanation for what they did, so they can't explain it. What they did was self - serving and the board reneged on their responsibility to shareholders by doing that ofering. While I do not wish any ill will on anyone, my observation is that those who behave like THTX's leadership has towards supportive and loyal shareholders ultimately pay a heavy price for having ...more

They have no conscience and I can tell you where they will go.... it's hot overthere...
Comment by palinc2000 on Nov 09, 2023 3:50pm
What exactly do you think they should have done instead of dilution?
Comment by Trogarzon on Nov 09, 2023 4:00pm
They could have explain what made them so desperate to proceed since a month before at the Q3 call they basically told us they were EDIDA positive and above the requirements and renegociating with Marathon to ease the covenants.  A few day before the CEO tells us he's working on shareholder value.  Then bang this thing.. fast and furious so it can be processed like it's a non ...more

There are a myriad of options they could have pursued which would have been far superior to what they choses to do. Now, we do not know every aspect of what THTX might have been facing but based on what is in the public realm, they did not have to do anything at this time. Nor did they have to raise that much money and throw all legacy shareholders under the bus. The sensible approach from my ...more

I voted againt all of them 3 years in a row and I unfortunatly your beleifs made you soft.  We are rewarded by this deal that is not one really.  It's a unilateral decision by them to give away 50% of the company to save their jobs for the next 2 years.  After that maybe they are kept in place by new owners may it be IQ or Soleus.  And you and me well it's a big finger. ...more

I am guilty as charged with regard to being "soft" and happy to be so. Despite the incredibly poor performance of THTX's stock price, we remainied supportive of management and the board. We thought they suffered mostly from bad luck more than bad management. Moreover, who among us has not made some mistakes? So, we try to lead with grace rather than judgment. That is who we aspire to ...more

You are supposed to bring value to your shareholders not to be preachy like you are. There is a place for that, it is called a church not a hedge fund. You try to say to all of those who lost their wealth be christians, accept that catastrophic outcome, due to an unprecedented mismanagement, wiith grace and take it as a blessing from God. What a cynical posture! I do think that even as a preacher ...more
