That is some insane valuation! Basically implying the asset class is dead or they are insolvent!

The entire portfolio is now below $200 per square foot and most of their square footage is in good areas, including a good chunk in british columbia (vancouver/victoria) where current rates are around $450 psf. Their lower quality properties were picked up on the cheap and they did alot of equity issuance so shouldn't have any trouble paying off debt with asset sales at this price. Drimmer ...more

look at it this way : current unit price is assuming that the average building of their 44 properties is worth roughly 3,000,000 $ after debt. Dividend is secured for at least another year, given current AFFO and cash flows, but if they cut it even to zero, you`re still left with tthe buildings .
