To really understand the problem of the illegal one there is a series of videos that delve into how it is done, who is doing it, the cost to the average investor and also touches on the enormity of the problem and also why it is extremely hard to fix. Each video is about an hour long and pays paticular attention to the mining sector but the general rule applies to all sectors and ,well, oil and gas is actually consider mining. I am not trying to sell anything and these videos are not endorsing any one company although the host is in the nickel space. It is just to help understand the gravity of the illegal short selling.
