From their recent release: "Tourmaline plans to pay four quarterly special dividends in 2024 in addition to the quarterly base dividend of 28 cents per share, while also maintaining the net debt (3) to cash flow (4) target of between 0.25 and 0.35 times by year-end 2024. Right on Newtonboy! Mike has committed to it, so it will happen. Maybe coincide with the quarterly payments, or sooner upon sale of some of the unwanted Bonavista assets.

Exactly! There won't be any redistribution of extra cash flows from 23'Q4. It would have been declared with the last PR if any. Check previous years announcements.

By checking the dividend dates from TOU 's dividend report it clearly indicates that 4 (four) Special dividends were paid in 2023. The first of four for this business year 2024 has, as everyone knows, not been announced as of yet. I'm guessing there is presently alot on their business plate which likely will determine the amount. Could be less than the past but what's important is any ...more

They coulda, woulda, shoulda declared it with the last PR.  Heaven forbid they change things up and confuse you. Given the SD may be much less than the usual $1.00 Mike may have decided to announce it with the quarterly results and explain the next day.  I don't know, just like you don't. Maybe they bought shares with all the FCF because of the low share price.  They ...more
