interesting story for Japan's LNG future demand...

interesting story for Japan's LNG future demand...and its not a good one...
BACKGROUND: Out of the
Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster 13 years ago, all of JAPAN's 55 reactors were taken offline. This caused a huge power deficit that has been partially rectified by massive amounts of LNG at higher prices over the last number of years.
Slowly, JAPAN has allowed the restart for a few of their reactors that have been upgraded to meet new stringent safety parameters with the support of localized communites. Its gaining traction as now THE WORLD"S LARGEST NUCLEAR PLANT has officially applied for a restart. It's comprised of 7 reactors outputting 8300 MW-apparently, all the upgrade work has been completed and all they need is localized community approval-not guaranteed but this litterally means thousands of hi-paying jobs for these same localized prefectures..Japanese LNG prices have already fallen and with the restart of this facility alone, the impact will on both LNG demand and price could be major....stay tuned...dwdc
