Having said that FLTR beta seems to be -0.25. So yes, I look forward to the stability. 



You actually thought TSGI was a stable stock and then tried to minnimize your embarassment by saying you were 'joking' when I pointed out the Beta.

A negative beta means the stock moves in the opposite direction as the market, Gold is a good example. But a stock like FLTR having a negative beta is meaningless it doesn't mean it isn't volatile and its pricechart demonstrates how much it can move even on no news.

Both stocks may go up or down, but for sure they are both more volatile than stocks in other sectors. Whether you equate volatility to risk is a subjective matter and I'll leave that to the reader.
