IMO if there were to be a lawsuit filed by some legal group it would have been announced by now. there isn't likely enough money to be gained in fees for them to take this on. as for shareholders, most would not be willing to put out more money to start a lawsuit. sadly I believe as bad as this sale is (and it looks like a 250% haircut), shareholders will approve it at the next meeting.
management, the board, and the special board are all content to take their overly generous piece of the pie and leave shareholders with the crumbs.
too bad shareholders could not invoke a pay for performance with this lot.
