Its about growthTV management has done a decent job but it's time to transition and that's why the new boss.
All mining companies have issues, there's always one mine giving them a head ache if they are a decent size but if they are big enough this is not a big issue. TV needs to grow up and become larger so they must take the next step and grow but it has to be smart growth, something that's accretive right away.
I think the deal with Puma was for a good reason. TV can still grow organically within New Brunswick, Halfmile and what about Stratmet, Restigouche and Ruttan?. What ever happened to them bringing on the copper as well?
Time to take that next step and make a deal this is when it will get the attention needed.
I think many here are not looking at the big picture. All can be resolved with smart growth. TV has a lot to offer.
