Very nicely put restatement of “Why TXP”

Comment by DanaWinnerTXP on Jul 31, 2020 8:00am
Hello Everybody, I loved the post so much I've joined your board. I didn't know about Stockhouse until now, I look forward to joining the TXP dialogue. I am pretty heavily invested here with 250k shares and have just started investing in North Energy ASA which is one of the biggest shareholders of TXP, but their price is delayed in increasing as they only report their asset position ...more

Welcome Dana good to see you here, I read your posts with great delight over on the Brit BB's. Though don't expect too much out of your recent  North Energy fling as there is a reason for their lagging in SP AND they are not adding but shedding their TXP shares as I'm sure you are aware of. Cheers ps I loved you in the ESC of '98 ! btw ds

Oh, just one more thing while we have the Brits on the line here. I have noticed recently a significant number of posters over there and on the social media platforms taking Chinook and Casca Deep almost as for granted in being successful wells and that they will deliver positive results even before the drill bit has even hit the ground ! I think that is a very immature and almost ruthless way of ...more

...and we have the risk of technical failure while drilling given the extreme high pressure and the tectonic jigzaw present here . Let's not forget how immensely important that decision was  o stop the drilling dead in it's track before it had reached it's targeted sand in Cascadura. They could have easily ruined the whole well if it wasn't for that stroke of genius to stop ...more

You re right Chreca but cascadura value is above market cap so I can survive in any case ;-) enjoy the WE

Exactly that is what we call a "backstop". Thanks, you too.

I think I will not only survive but do really great on my investment here EVEN if Chinook and Casca Deep is duds, just saying...

If Chinoook fails, I plan to load up more of  "the Fun".

Just some comparison between an apple and an orange. CNPC are in talks with BP to buy a 10% stake of their Khazzan field in Oman for 1.5 bn USD, a Natty and Condy onshore unconventional field with a projected 300 well 16bn USD development cost in total. Plan is to reach 1,5bcf/d gas and 35k barrels of liquids/d while up 'n' running at full speed, presently at 1bcf/d production. Discovered ...more

Hmmmm, so, it's OK to own TXP, but not OK to be optimistic about its future. Got it!
Comment by Chreca1 on Jul 31, 2020 11:01pm
That is not what I wrote, do you deliberately misunderstood or are you just plain stupid ? And I read posts on 6 different venues discussing TXP and the certain posters I refered to is not on this TXP BB . If I wasn't optimistic about the upcoming wells I wouldn't still be here would I ? Given the entry price I have, got that ?
Comment by JB3729 on Aug 01, 2020 9:14am
Well, I recieved the anticipated nasty reply. I fully expected it from someone that calls out other posters as being very immature due to their bullish stance on Chinook's COS. For the record, I am one of those bulls!

Just put me on ignore and I'll do the same with you and the world will be a slightly better place for all !

Speaking of nasty posters anyone heard whatever happened to that tragic ToolBox character ? The guy that called me a liar only for telling him what I paid for my TXP shares while being asked. LOL I just trying to post whatever info I find to be of interest here to others, and  unfortunately throws in a few personal thoughts in between here and there and for that I get what I deserves it seems ...more

Funny this board has been crickets for the past 6 years until late when the discovery was found and news started to leak, now its become a hot spot for banter, I guess its a good thing to see many more people interested in the stock, Im not used to seeing banter here, thats usually saved for the CPG BTE forums or anyothers that have are now worth pennies on the dollar. Strange to see people making ...more

Agree, definitely been a few disgruntled posters coming and going here since the Coho discovery announcement,  I guess they have their own personal reasons/grudge for it being they missed the run up in the SP or sold early on or something ? I've always been positive about my outlook on the Ortoire block, but I'm not going to take whatever s**t is thrown at me without lashing back from ...more

It's been a long time (6 June) since North made a holdings report and I believe they need to sell a little moe than 1.6mm shares until they are obliged t file another one and it's been a lot of trading days since June 6th incl a few on a rather high volume, so have they finally stopped shedding their precious TXP shares ? Or maybe just raised their selling price to 70p and therefore not ...more

Thanks for the comments about Eurovision, I loved it too. Sadly, I am now a bloke that can't sing, but I am ten years younger. Otherwise I would still be getting all kinds of everything, over all parts of my anatomy, I would be a real slapper if I were a girl. Anyway, my thoughts for the week are as follows. I wasn't expecting very much last week, and I wasn't disappointed. What seems ...more

Aim trading today was lite, but 77% of it was marked as traded on the bid. Looks like we have a background buyer mopping up stock from bored punters. That's been the pattern in the U.K. for well over a week. Bodes well for a nice move as and when news arrives.

Hi Dana As you're "pretty sure"  Chinook will bring "very positive"  results, would you care to give us some personal/internally made-up CoS  number on Chinook for the rest of us to hang or hopes on ? Thanks in advance ! Cheers Chreca
