Hear Ye...Hear Ye... Spoofing Alert!!!

While PB's works on his "underpromise and over deliver" strategy, in not too plain sight, we have yet another challenge ..... i.e. Spoofers making an appearance two(2) hours before the Toronto market is scheduled to open.

In the past, we have alerted the TXP Board of a certain segment of the TXP trading fraternity (probably with questionable intentions..which do not align with the long term traders).. called spoofing.. which I would remind the board is illegal.

Meaning, if we compare the trading activity on the LSE and the last close; the pre-open does  not suggest any justification for the pre market open pricing.

Just like TXP creamed the shorts with their Chinook 1 NR; I hope that PB and his advisors have a remedy for the spoofers in the works.

Greed is eveywhere, which is why TXP had to insulate the retail shreholders from these purloiners.

Taffy: Bringing back the discussions to (this) the Spoofing Thread/Subject RE:So if this spoofing is going on as you pointed out Stanley, shouldn't the TSX compliance dept. be made aware by PB or ourselves of the shenanigans going on. As someone pointed out theres a $5MM reward for catching the perpetrators. Maybe we should report them and we'll split the reward between ourselves

Don't forget to check out the US site if you're looking to see how the US market is looking at things. Sometimes if you set up an alert you might get a head's up on possible herd direction.  Meanwhile, in the Trini trivia .. Slumberger (HQ'd) iN La Romain, had two pronuncations... Trinis pronounce it  "Slum burger" while and others (e.g. Canucs) say, "
