Paul Baay Interview

Video on You Tube is only six minutes long.  Everyone should listen to it.  If everything he says is true then the shares are way undervalued. I think he has earned some credibilty over the last few years and I think he is being pretty straight forward.  I am going to stick with my projections of $3-5 US by end of 2021 and $5-10 US by end of 2022.  That might be conservative.

Paul does mention that there may be a few glitches along the way.  Disappointing testing at Chinook could be one. (I am not worried about Cascadura Deep since it is 900 feet from an already  tested interval and gas under pressure bolted to the surface).   Drilling at Cascadura for third time without finding something in that deep target would be another glitch.  A Royston well that was a bust would be another and bigger glitch.

None of these would be killers but would put a temporary damper on the story and the shares.

But a great test of Chinook would be powerful (maybe they have already even tested the deepest zone of three (do they test  bottom to top or the other way around?)  Three good zones at Cascadura Deep would be nice.   And of course a great discovery well at Royston would essentiually double the value of the company.  All that will play out in the next few months.  Exciting time in history of the company.  Production ramp with increasing revenues with Coho first but then accelerating toward end of year will also be a 2021 story.

They always test the lowest first and then go up-hole from there. And good to remember that Coho and Casca-1 have already derisked this block and proved great  future value that will be unlocked by the upcoming production, now just a matter of time and with NGC in charge from here on the infrastructure build-out the permitting etc should be faster than ever, but at least we got the answer now ...more

I guess we should not judge the Markets inability to view this deal for what it is after just one trading day, but the significance and importance for TXP  that from now on not have to focus and put any efforts into that part of the commercialisation process is a huge plus. I know Paul been throwing out numbers in previous interviews of the cost involved to tie-in these larger pools and to ...more

Yes, Baay was extolling over US$3/mcf (think he even said $3.11) in an earlier interview on the NGC negotiations, but all that apart I need numbers and to understand the risks (in ddition to ones outlined regarding drill program). As I see it, excluding all other production, we might go from COHO alone giving TXP about 3c NET income (on 80% of prodn and after royalties and oper costs but not taxes ...more

Sure, there are questions yet unanswered like for example that one of yours that they should be able to answer without refering to the confidentiality agreement, luckily there is an investor webinar scheduled for Jan 14th hopefully including a Q&A part so we should work on some good questions to put forward for Paul up until then I think. That webinar will be highly interesting as by then we ...more

MJH. I agree that this is a good deal for TXP but I would like to see some of these questions answered also. At this point I would assume that TXP is on the hook to build out any infrastructure necessary to transport the liquids since they are excluded from the contract. One question the group may be able to answer, does the NGC deal include ALL piplines for gas that is sold under the contract? I ...more

Well he did give you a number in the recent interview that should be close enough for you to do your calculations upon on whatever risks you are seeing in the already discovered pool's commercialization process. As for that last question you shouldn't ask us here but  TXP themselves and if you can't wait until Jan 14th then both IR and Paul are very approachable and helpful in ...more

Chreca, I am one of many who appreciate your spreading the word on TXP!  TXP was not on my radar a year ago.  I followed you over here from Valeura, which was a disappointing assymetric bet I made too late in that story.  I have been able to recoup those funds and add some profits by following you here. Don't let the nabobs of negativity get you down.  I always look ...more

Thanks guys. Good to hear my little promo campaign did some good back then ! Now, I did not write my previous post with the intention of receiving some pats on my back, and then just keep on posting as it would make me look like that was my intention in the first place, but maybe I should stick around then afterall. :) There's just a few posters here spreading the BS and insults and most ...more

Cherica, I hope you don't think the comment I made last week was personally attacking or insulting you. It was not mean't that way.  I also appreciate the information that you provide and I also followed some folks to this stock from Valeura. I believe it was either you or Dave4444 where I first saw TXP. I have a very positive bias toward TXP and I own a lot of it, too much. However, ...more
