Interesting that Trinidad will finally be offering new licensing rounds for oil and gas deep/shallow and onshore.

Wonder if Mr Moonan's scouting missions for the past many months and ongoing will yield TXP putting in for some new license areas when the process is opening.

Quite possibly they might be bidding for quite a few, given the wall of cash coming in as 2022 progresses and too much money to spend on what they have so far.......some new exploration acreage would certainly be interesting.

Also note from that article linked in the earlier post........ .........The government is in "advanced negotiations" with Shell about contract terms for the Manatee field on the maritime border with Venezuela, Young said........... Wonder if Coho routing is one of the many things waiting to fall into line as part of these negotiations between Shell and the government.

Interesting for sure.  However Paul has made it clear that thy think that Ortoire block has higher potential than adjacent areas. That said the deeper structures under the legacy assets further west have some exploration potential. Unlike Ortoire, the licenses there are scattered and relatively smal. Would love to see if they could put together some bigger blocks contiguous to some of their

Offshore is the place where  turbidite sands have been most prolific.   But the Ortoire block is the place where on-shore is the new offshore -  in terms of how these sands were depositied. That is what Xavier has been talking about for years.  And that is what Cascadura proves. And on-shore wells are so much cheaper to drill and to hook up.  Hooking up the wells (with a

Paul has said the sands to the north generally taper down and are not as thick there. He really feels the best targets are the ones they have on the Ortoire block.  He has discussed this several times.
