RE:Germany to go nukeless by April While the shut down of nuclear plants is good for Germany or the EU is debatable I don't think there can be any doubt that it is bullsih for VET.
Germany will be more reliant on NG as a back up fuel and later a bridge fuel as it seems commited to its long term plans and goals and what better way to acquire the resource than to produce it locally.
VET and XOM are poised to take advantage of this opportunity together.
Lower WFTes in Germany combined with higher returns inspite of them makes Germany seem like the logical place for increased cap-ex investment even if it is begrudgingly. Business, like life, goes on.
