EVs are fine in Europe maybe where distances are short (and traffic jams are long), but in N. America where a daily commute of 5o k is considered reasonable, no one but a fool is going to wait around for 40 minutes to get a recharge, so the infernal combustion engine is going to be around for a long time to come.
