The contribution set out minimum amounts to be calculated on taxable profits starting in 2022 and/or 2023, which are above a 20% increase of the average yearly taxable profits for 2018 to 2021. For 2023, the legislated rate in Germany is 33% and in Ireland is 75%. For the three and six months ended June 30, 2023, windfall tax expense was $34.8 million and $56.2 million.
