VRO package

Has arrived home in Vancouver.

I like the .30 distribution per share as honestly with the SP price so low these days, in a comforting recovery. (I av. $4.15 on a 1/2 truck load )

Yes I will obviously will like to see the money well spend in future light oil drillings and other developments as well as in paying more debt, but at this time I will vote yes for the debt reduction and yes for the distribution.

Insiders seem to all be in agreement to.

I wonder if there will be some accumulation from here to March 20 to get the benefit of the distribution (that may push the SP a little higher) and also worry that after the distributin date, the stock could drop down the .30 or more very quicly as no more incentive and NG prices still very low

Anybody see this to?

Hey Troya I got my package as well and yes I will also vote positively. Just to say that Stock price should get traction over the next two weeks because a 10% special dividend (based on 3$ stock price) is a good deal when you get only 2% at the bank over a full year... Just hang to your shares and we will slowly go toward 4$ before closing date because even at that price ...more

The .30/sh distribution should be viewed as a return of capital and not a dividend. ie: the stock would be selling for 2.66 instead of todays price of 2.96 when it goes x-distribution. The more important question to ask is if their current 1800boe/d production, prospective land holdings, reserves, and company staff capability worth more than $130mil, as indicated by todays ...more

Exactly me fear. Hopefully I can play the ups and downs before x-dist as I do not see this holding into the mid/high $3's with out proven performance. Thanks both E @ F

3.13$ is way better than what I read on this board... including the 0,30$ for a 2,60$ real value???(earlier post).... The way I look at this is:  if somebody want to send me a 9,5% interest  on a SP of 3,13$ and I just have to be on a list at the end of the recording date  early March, then why not.... Hang to your shares because they worth more than what you think... at 4 ...more
