There could be lots of contrarian arguments regarding his discussion on LNG, we are seeing big moves to nat gas across the world. China has to move away from coal over time, it knows that, the U.S this year saw more nat gas generation than coal , that trend will continue. Easy to be bearish in bearish times, but that is where opportunity lies.
I look at Jordan Cove as a long dated option, it isn't in the share price, it isn't in the revenue guidance it isn't going to impact the company the next 2-3 yrs in any material way (outside of some expense). The company is cheap, the market is bearish, buying a company below book value with a sustainable dividend in this range is enough. Nice growth prospects in the next couple of years and a target of bringing the divvy to an 80% POR with that growth. That will provide some nice capital gains, for me it already has, I expect more to come.
