A student who graduated from Economics returned to University after 20 years to see his professors and old buddies. He then asked his professor how the science( Economics) is progressing. And the professor said " the questions are still the same the answers have changed". That shows the state of the art and the dangers lurking in the background in making predictions about the Economy and the markets, oil markets no withstanding.

Oil self-corrects, always.  It goes too high, cripples economies, they use less, and it comes back down.  The risk-reward scenario is now clearly tipped to the risky side.  Higher oil prices from here will start knocking major economies down - hell Biden is ready to open the spigot on the SPRs!    Statiscally speaking, oil prices have peaked and are bound to drop.

If "maybe you are" it's easy to find out by answering a couple of questions: Is Economics a science or an art, or even Witchcraft? And if it's a science what are the basic assumptions and  methods it employs to establish knowledge? That would be an easy question for a man of your stature to answer.Let us hear it.
