Wow!

Wow!Boardmembers here have been paying attention and are aware of things shaping up over here in the Canopy/Acreage camp.  I know it is a convoluted deal between Canopy and Acreage but a deal never-the-less.  It has some floating parts but I daresay Canopy showed good faith in their original intentions that caused the deal to be written in the first place.  Acreage Holdings is argueably the largest US MSO and Canopy knows they have to be in the US as an International company.  They could have just swallowed up Acreage in the marketplace when it was flirting with a buck and half a share other than that little sticky-wicket issue of touching the product causing them grief with the Feds.  Smart progressive world leaders that they are, they came up with the deal.  Acreage has necessary parts, licenses, retailers, fields of green, manufacturing and dispensaries and Canopy's interest in the US is also backed up with a huge facility being revamped in New York so you know what they are thinking in regards to our future US prospects.  Money has been paid to Acreage that made its way to shareholders, the most recent .30c special dividend made its way to my account and I believe the first 300 million payment made its way to first string shareholders too although I believe it should have been held for general operations capital.  Good points being made about US beverage expansion with Canopy branded products licensed to Acreage, cbd first and then thc announced for summer of 2021.  I believe that beverages is what got Constellation Brands mojo going such that they parted with $5 billion to be involved with the navigating of Canopy Growth and ultimately Acreage Holdings.  That was a major coup for Bruce Linton and a huge shot of vitamin b for the whole greenrush space.  Most of the big players have right-sized and right-valued due to the delays for regulators and lawmakers to dot the i's and cross the t's but I'm seeing serious forward movement with share purchases from US investors and Canadian investors buying into US companies.  So much so, in fact, that they are acting like we are on the verge of the US greenrush.  Yes, Canopy can walk away from the Acreage deal but there has been a lot of money, effort and foresight put into that purchase/takeover because they need it or something similar.  Nobody needs the delays generated by the legal beagles as they are overzealous to protect us from ourselves with a far less deadly option than the legal and socially accepted alcohol.  Fat old North America and the rest of the world too, could use a new healthier vice for rec and social use and it is coming imo.  I felt that way when I picked up some Bedrocan shares and then average down with Canopy shares when they started building their umbrella company with acquisitions of what they felt was going to be needed and Acreage Holdings was very similar with rapid acquisitions of what they felt was necessary to be in the position they are currently in.  Canopy USA Acreage division!  Its got a ring like that cash register sound to it.  Ka ching!  glta and dyodd
