If I read this news as an investor, I would be really upset. Canopy was actively accused of misleading investors, and rather than fight it, they owned it. And then they paid for it. And now they've opened the door for further scrutiny and most likely further law suits. Are you happy with a company that does this? I sure wouldn't be. And so now they piss away another 24 million. Not to worry. That's really just another day at the Canopy shop, ain't it. You must be just so frikkin' proud of your baby. ;)
