RE:RE:RE:I bought CGC to own a part of Biosteel @ GEO, completely understand where you are coming from, and I do agree it has been a tough go for Acrg shareholders. In my post I was just specifically talking about the rumoured sale of Bio. Since the company statement clearly states unwavering support for Bio it would not make sense that CGC was planning to sell, as this could very easily be seen as misleading shareholders. That said, CGC is clearly under the guidance of STZ, so highly unlikely they would allow CGC to leave that statement in their guidance if a sale was pending. That is the point I was making, as for picking apart the company and keeping the best pieces, that has always been a concern since the anouncement of the new CUSA, as STZ would in the worse case scenario slice apart CGC for pieces. I don't think we are there yet as STZ is keeping their distance and need CUSA to do so and make the risky venture into the USA as one company. With all the renegotiating of the Acrg deal and share purchases, along with refinancing I would say STZ has already recovered a good part of their initial investment. They own all the best parts in a wide variety within the sector and are currently well below market value of all their combined assets held. Everything is in place from distribution, outsourcing, brands and supply, all that is needed is the ok from the Feds and we are set, imho. Yes, if the bottom drops out of the sector, the USA returns to the 1950s and restarts the war on drugs, then yes STZ may cut and slice, but we are not there yet, and I would think the shareholders over at STZ are pretty happy with what they have payed for and what they now have. The risk vs reward is still looking good for them...to my point if its good for them I'm better off going with them. There was a reason why Acrg was chosen as a prtner, it was referenced then, that you have to be careful whom you get in bed with in this sector, to me this translates into be weary of those in the sector that no large corp hs been willing to get in bed with! Something else that should be considered imho.
