Biostell is still very clearly indicated in the company's recent official statement as a component in the company's official unwavering focus. I personaly choose to accept what the company publishes in their official statement, rather than rumours on this board of CGC selling Biosteel. Time will tell, but that would be a surprise for a company like STZ/CGC to intentionaly mislead investors ...more

STZ's beancounter accounting department took BioSteel at their word which they should have questioned BEFORE they did the deal. I am sure STZ has plan b in place and will go after whatever value they figure they got screwed out of. They are very careful in their dealings to make sure they can revisit, re-evaluate or walk away from deals.  Check out the Acreage revisit that has STZ ...more

IMO Canopy has been an awful investment for STZ which is why they won't  be deploying anymore capital into the company, which means that CGC will have to rely on debt or stock offerings to fund their unsustainable business that still has a negative cash flow of 400 million.  GLTA

STZ went heavy into CBC as they seen Long term potential in cannabis. Don't forget that over the last few years we have seen a pandemic and a war breakout in Europe, both had negative impacts to the cannabis sector but it doesn't change the market potential going forward for cannabis. IMHO the US needs cannabis legalization to aid in job creation and tax revenue. It will come, the people ...more

Darn auto-correct, that should be CGC,  not CBC... lol

I am sure they have at least two buyers who would want / need BioSteel added to their portfolio but i honestly think they should hold into it. That or pit buyers against each other in a bidding war to max out the price. Jmho
