In opening weekend alone it's #6 in US and worldwide compared to all movies for 2022

None of this matters...they are unable to get anybody to buy into their story.   They are failing miserably at attracting any institutional shareholders.  This stock will never exit this miserable trading range...the company is a perfect value trap!   Put the for sale sign on the door, chop this company up and shareholders will get 3x the price right away.  Otherwise ...more

I think you should really consider selling your position, you don't appear to have long term confidence in this company. At the same time, your negative comments are actually a great bellweather for when to buy, every time one of these shows up, its at or near the bottom of the current negative movement.
Comment by Alphaseeker1973 on Apr 11, 2022 2:52pm
I am holding in hope that someone buys them out between 2-3x the current price...that is the only reason I am still holding on, and frankly the only hope sharehodlers ever make a decent return here.   I am surprised that more shareholders are not demanding they put the sale sign out.   The stock is trading below where it was 4 years ago...management has not been able to ...more

You keep on saying 4 years ago and completely discounting the steep climb out of sub 80 cents from just 2 years ago. I've already made 1 fortune with WILD.
Comment by Alphaseeker1973 on Apr 11, 2022 3:24pm
There are a lot of companies that have gone up from the bottom of 2 years ago...that does not excuse management's inability to unlock the value here, which is clearly higher than this bu!!$hit     .

Whatever, all I see here is a great entry point. The exit will appear pretty soon too. This is easy money, not hard.
Comment by Alphaseeker1973 on Apr 11, 2022 4:44pm
Looks like you are going to get an even better entry pooint in the days and weeks ahead.  Nothing stopping this slow bleed...
Comment by Andrew1111 on Apr 11, 2022 5:14pm
You have no idea how well that would work for me

There are always a few people who continuously view a poor performing company / stock as an opportunity.  I hope you are right that this turns up but the charts, results and market reaction to this company say otherwise.   The most damning datapoint is the CEO (who makes millions) and other senior management won't but 1 share at this sickening level.   Tells you ...more

Look at the ownership structure. Fine is owning more than 43% of this company. Other big institutional investors are owning about 20%, i guess. That's 63%. some long-term individual investors are holding about 2%-5% of this company (i'm guessing). So the free float is only about 32%-35%, really low. That's why this stock right now is so volatile. Just a month away from Q3 earnings ...more

Yeah, I agree, I'm happy with the business's performance. The turnaround from the past few years has been great, the next Q should be very good.

The flywheel starts spinning when Sonic, Starwberry Shortcake, Yo Gabba Gabba and Degrassi go onto AVOD. We're about 8 months away from when the hockey stick starts to rise.
Comment by Alphaseeker1973 on Apr 13, 2022 8:35am
I hope you are right but thre is no indication that Wildbrain will be successful with any of these relaunches.   Strawberry Shortcake has been a catastrophe on Spark...videos of grandmother's knitting generate more interest than this brand.  The terrible launch made them pivot and fire sale the rights to Netflix.   The Roblox game had 17 users yesterday which tells you ...more

You're a tree spotter. Try looking at the forest instead.

First of all, you don't appear to have the temperment for high risk investment. I'd suggest once again to consider selling your position. Second, your thesis is wrong. Completely wrong. Strawberry is making money through Netflix plus AVOD. Sonic isn't a last ditch effort, its a big multi partner relaunch of a legacy IP with several partners. Its a very lucrative deal for WILD, they get ...more

Give your balls a tug...my temperment for risk is quite high.  I own quite a bit of this stock...and as a result I am focused on what is happening across a broad set of considerations.   I have commented on a few which I put in more basic format: 1) Spark is not growing at the rate of the competition and is therefore losing value. 2) Strawberry Shortcake is a disaster....no ...more

1. Spark is growing/recovering. If the competition you are talking about is cocolemon/moonbug then remember that they don't disclose their ads sales #. Their revenue, ebitda are combination of both ads dollars and  CP sales. I bet you that CP sales accounts for the majority of their revenue/ebitda.  2. They just lanuched. What do you expect in less than a year? They bought Snoopy and ...more
