If Wallbridge does indeed get bought by Kirkland Lake...

If Wallbridge does indeed get bought by Kirkland Lake...This is definitely a newbie question, but I was wondering what benefits an investor can reap if Kirkland Lake or another company were to buy/acquire Wallbridge. I'm aware that itmay drive up the price of the stock, but you have to ultimately sell your stock to the company buying if you haven't sold already correct? Would greatly appreciate if someone could briefly highlight the pros and cons of of a company buying Wallbridge.
