None of us knows what this will do to timeline, however I'd be willing to guess that it's not alot. No one talks about all of the positive comments made by Dominic Barton or Kristina Freeland or Pierre Poilievre about shortening / fast tracking permitting in the resource sector to meet demand. They all stress action & not words. I get it, it's just talk but it demonstrates a change in focus and a realization that things need to move quicker or we'll never get these projects producing. To Metal's point, we can't assume that there won't be change or hurdles and this is a much an issue for Rio or any suitor of any project, not just Casino.
