RE:Response from Paul Paul obviously misspoke when he said RIO wants "green energy" to run eventual operations at Casino. Does anyone honestly believe that wind or solar will be able to power the fleet and mill at a heavy, industrial site such as a mining operation, especially the size projected for Casino?!
Yes, everyone who has an opinion would agree that getting connected to the grid is the way to go. Now, how the grid operators pursue any possible "green enhancements" to their power profile is entirely up to them. WRN and RIO are not utility companies, we would be utility customers who are only concerned with obtaining the power needed at the best price possible, be it green or otherwise.
