I have almost completed my initial DD on WRN

and the tripling of my position today speaks louder than words.  One thing that would be of great help is an explanation of the Rio issue.  I know it could be ferreted out on the company’s web site, but would take time, and I wouldn’t benefit from the board’s insight.

Rio wants reseonable assuarance that they can mine in the Yukon in an environementaly friendly way. Thus, they want to see if and when there could be a power grid connection between Yukon and BC. They also want some more clarity on the Port situation in Skagway. This is the basic premise of why they seem a bit hesitant. One thing to note is that they are not wating for a grid connection to happen ...more

Thanks, that makes sense.  Does the option limit what Western can do going forward? b.

Does not restrict WRN in any way, at least to my knowledge.

Thanks, so it isn't really an issue then.  I had read some criticism on this board about the option but didn't understand the remarks. Is this right?   Fully Diluted shares 172,051,947 times $1.42 = around a quarter billion?  That seems high for a bare ground camp.(?)   b.

If you have done any due diligence on this at all by reading the latest presentations, you'd see what the NPV is and the value of the metal in the ground.

Please read the company's Feasibility Report from March, 2023 before you ask more questions. It's clear you don't have a basic grasp of the geology, resource, or engineering of the Casino mine. I think lots of your questions will be answered in there, and you'll have a much better idea of the possible value of the mine.

“Please read the company's Feasibility Report from March, 2023”   I just skimmed it after reading 7 million ounces of Au.  I believe that if a geologist signs his name to a report, I figure he probably knows more about it than I.  So, I assume their interpretation of the ore body and its formation is better than that which would require research in a depth that my time actively ...more

I think you've alienated many on this board because you spend more time composing your posts than you've apparently spent reading the basics for investing your money. The feasibility study I mentioned previously contains 14.8 million oz of measured and indicated gold, 7.8 billion lbs of measured and indicated copper, 791 million lbs of measured and indicated molybdenum, and 117.2 million ...more

CopperAndGold I like this part of your post, "There are certainly some infrastructure and permit questions still to be answered, but it's going to be developed, and many of us intend to profit handsomely when it is sold to a major mining company."" After 18 years I hope to "profit handsomely when it is sold to a major mining company".    You can understand ...more

I surely apologize to those board members that were “alienated" by my asking for help in developing a clearer picture of the casino deposit.  I guess I was spoiled twenty years ago when stock board participants actually ENCOURAGED new investors to purchase shares, and thus establishing a stronger base, and theoretically increasing the PPS.  Unfortunately, on many boards today we ...more
