Jakob never speaks about Casino. A deal has never been clinched. Rio made a mistake by not taking us out earlier as a copper project. Now, IMHO, somebody such as Agnico (or other) can come in and make a bid on us as a gold project. Much is going on behind the scenes. Eyes are watching.

Why would Jakob speak about Casino? Last time I looked Rio don't own Casino or have controlling interest.  Effectively until Rio poop or get off the pot, they have given themselves an option to do something with Casino but much like window shoppers they don't actually have to buy it, but of course will try it out a few times while they wait for the eventual sales to come around ...more

Not sure the commodity prices you are quoting are the latest used by WRN... These are the correct ones... "Base Case metal prices: Cu: US$3.60/lb, Au: US$1,700/oz, Ag: US$22/oz, Mo: US$14/lb" Why would high metals prices increase reserves? (Pretty sure only more drilling will increase reserves...)

Thanks, as cited the CASINO PROJECT TECHNICAL REPORT  08 August 2022.  Is there an update?  I’m not familiar enough with the modeling to understand the implications of the drilling cut off grades.  Higher prices obviously allows lower grade ore to be profitably mined.  This would be more important in a highly deseminated ore body such as the CarlinTrend than higher grade ...more
